On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Stephanie Nielson was in a plane crash with her husband, Christian Nielson, and his flight instructor, Doug Kinnear, near St. Johns, Arizona. Doug Kinnear passed away soon after arriving at the Maricopa County Hospital.

 

Christian & Stephanie remain in critical condition at Maricopa Burn Center.  Christian has sustained burns on over 30% of his body.  His wife Stephanie’s body was burned over 80%.  

 

For the past four years, Stephanie has welcomed us into her charming abode through the NieNie Dialogues.  Far from being a product of creative editing, the Nielson’s don’t just shine through the selective lens of a blog.  They are ingenuous examples of family devotion, eternal romance, and Christ centered faith.  This site is dedicated to their welfare & recovery.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we hope a fast recovery... Best Wishes, Chasing Spayde 

New size boxes!

We have recieved some valuable advise from a couple of very smart bridal consultants that we should add a smaller size box to our choices. As a bride or event planner we understand that the 4x4 and 3x3 party favor box may be just a little overwhelming to think about what to put inside, so we have listened to these ladies and added a new size (2x2) to the selection of boxes. It is always better to have three different choices anyways...don't you think?

Can we say WOW!!!

These are simply beautiful! Made with great eye catching colors these party favors were created for our good friend Katrina from Magical Party Rentals. Her  spectacular Bohemian themed  event was  held over this past weekend and we cannot wait to see how they were carefully placed at each  setting. This fun favor box was wrapped in bougainvillea pink Midori ribbon and  topped  off with Aqua Swarovski crystals.  Each was filled with a wonderful smelling tealight candle and glass holder.

Yellow Mellow

Hello everyone, we know it's been a while since we've posted anything new but

Chasing Spayde Designs has been extremely busy.

One of the items we have been so busy working on are these very eye pleasing favor boxes. Michelle from Lemiga Event Management has asked us to be part of her Open House Soiree and wanted us to design something fabulous for one of her diplay tables. For this box we chose to use this beautiful black, silver and grey flocked flowered paper and then finished it with white and buttery yellow silky satin ribbon and this beautiful Swarovski pendant.

Wow these are truly yummy!
