Remember in May our friends, the Wedding Chicks hosted a give away? Well, the lucky winner received 10 of our custom favor boxes and Miyon and her finance Jason, were the lucky winners. The beautiful bride and her husband have shared a few of their special moments from their wedding with us by providing us with pictures from their perfect day. About Nie

On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Stephanie Nielson was in a plane crash with her husband, Christian Nielson, and his flight instructor, Doug Kinnear, near St. Johns, Arizona. Doug Kinnear passed away soon after arriving at the Maricopa County Hospital.

 

Christian & Stephanie remain in critical condition at Maricopa Burn Center.  Christian has sustained burns on over 30% of his body.  His wife Stephanie’s body was burned over 80%.  

 

For the past four years, Stephanie has welcomed us into her charming abode through the NieNie Dialogues.  Far from being a product of creative editing, the Nielson’s don’t just shine through the selective lens of a blog.  They are ingenuous examples of family devotion, eternal romance, and Christ centered faith.  This site is dedicated to their welfare & recovery.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and we hope a fast recovery... Best Wishes, Chasing Spayde 

New size boxes!

We have recieved some valuable advise from a couple of very smart bridal consultants that we should add a smaller size box to our choices. As a bride or event planner we understand that the 4x4 and 3x3 party favor box may be just a little overwhelming to think about what to put inside, so we have listened to these ladies and added a new size (2x2) to the selection of boxes. It is always better to have three different choices anyways...don't you think?

Can we say WOW!!!

These are simply beautiful! Made with great eye catching colors these party favors were created for our good friend Katrina from Magical Party Rentals. Her  spectacular Bohemian themed  event was  held over this past weekend and we cannot wait to see how they were carefully placed at each  setting. This fun favor box was wrapped in bougainvillea pink Midori ribbon and  topped  off with Aqua Swarovski crystals.  Each was filled with a wonderful smelling tealight candle and glass holder.

Yellow Mellow

Hello everyone, we know it's been a while since we've posted anything new but

Chasing Spayde Designs has been extremely busy.

One of the items we have been so busy working on are these very eye pleasing favor boxes. Michelle from Lemiga Event Management has asked us to be part of her Open House Soiree and wanted us to design something fabulous for one of her diplay tables. For this box we chose to use this beautiful black, silver and grey flocked flowered paper and then finished it with white and buttery yellow silky satin ribbon and this beautiful Swarovski pendant.

Wow these are truly yummy!

We love this great new pattern called Swallow that Midori just came out with. Handmade paper is wonderful to work with and is rich in color and 100% recycled cotton fiber. Please leave a comment we would love to know how you feel about the new pattern.

Goldfish Galore

Goldfish Galore what more can we say!!

These fun and fresh looking boxes really turned out FABULOUS. We used beautiful red swarovski crystals to enhance the eyes and aqua blue swarovski crystals to create a floating bubble like appearance throughout. Inside the box was a wonderful vanilla and sandalwood scented handmade soap and the finishing touch was the shimmery sheer midori organdy ribbon that really tied the whole thing together.

Sherry and John

This great design is still being worked on but we wanted to share them with you and we will later show you the finished product. They are for Sherry and John who are getting married in September and have chosen some of our favorite colors. We designed small favor boxes for her bridesmaids and a big card box that will hold all their cards at the reception then can later can be used to hold all their memories of that special day.

We hope they have a wonderful life together and can't wait to see pictures!

A Wild and Crazy Baby Shower

This couple, Steve and Rachelle, were expecting their first child and insisted on a very non traditional shower and we had the pleasure of creating the cutest boxes for the event. The couple choose to have an African Safari themed baby shower; an African Safari is what they had done for their honeymoon and it must have been one of their fondest memories. We created these cute giraffe style flip top lid boxes stuffed with the best smelling soap for each attending guest, a three tier diaper cake made with roughly 120 diapers and decorated with silk vines and wild animals....it was the perfect center piece! Then lastly we created a 10x10 size box for all the memories of Isaac's wild and crazy adventures.

This was truly the most exciting event ever!

The Wedding Chicks

Thank you to The Wedding Chicks for this wonderful add! We had participated in a fun give away and received a lot of BUZZ from it.

A sweet person, Miyon, who is having a destination wedding with only 10 guests won...how perfect! She selected her design and her paper and was very happy with our finished product. We used handmade paper, beautiful colored ribbon and finished with pink and white swarovski crystals.

Miyon, we hope your wedding day is perfect and hope that your guests love their box as much as you do!
